Sunday Worship

We gather for worship at 10 a.m. for in-person worship at Peace UCC.  Our service is recorded and posted to the church’s Facebook page (PeaceUCC Hartsburg) shortly after worship each Sunday. You can find a copy of our worship bulletin below.

Worship at Peace church is blessed with wonderful music by choir members, Cheryl Nichols, our Music Director and pianist, and a singing congregation. Our hymn book is Hymns for the Family of God, but we often supplement that hymnal with other music.  The scripture readings generally follow the Lectionary cycle of Scripture readings.  Peace church celebrates Communion once a month, and the Lord’s table is open to all who profess the Christian faith.

Lay members participate in worship at Peace church by reading the scriptures, leading group prayers, and providing Children’s Time.  A treasured part of worship at Peace is sharing our joys and concerns and praying for each other.
